Wild Child Racing LLC was created when Maxwell Plarr held his newborn son in his arms.  Looking down at his son brought back memories of growing up sailing with his dad and grandfather and the hope that he can help inspire the next generation to carry the same love for the water.  Maxwell has had many great sailing opportunities throughout his career but there wouldn't be a career without those early days that lit the fire.  It is the mission of Wild Child to inspire the next generation and create lifelong sailors through the Kites and Keels Program and coaching.

Maxwell Plarr is a US Sailing Level III Coach and holds certificates for CPR/AED/FirstAid, Safesport, and NASBLA.  His programs have been nationally ranked and have claimed two national titles. Maxwell has had the honor of sailing and learning from some of the best pro sailors over the years and it is that knowledge that Wild Child hopes to pass on to the next generation.
